NATURE CARE CAMP 2024

🐞

June 24-28

Through crafts and song, play and exploration, Nature Camp will take your four to ten year-old kids outside to learn how to care for the world around them.

This free camp will lead your child into the heart of a healthy earth: soil, water, plants, and all that wiggles, crawls, flies and creeps.

🐞

Here’s everything you need to know for a great week at camp!

First, please register. Then, on the first day of camp come to Bethel at 19856 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg, Virginia 20175. That’s about a mile south of Heritage High School. See the map. We’ll greet you in the back parking lot.

Parents:

Please fill out the Nature Care Camp Liability Waiver and Photo Release form and bring it with you to the first day of camp.

Sign in with your child at 8:45 a.m. each morning. Please pick up your children at 12 p.m. — please come inside and check your camper out with their counselor.

Come share the feast with us on the last day of camp. You will get to taste some of our bounty and your campers will be excited to share their favorite activities of the week with you.

Please send with your camper:

  • Water

  • Sunscreen (no spray please)

Campers:

Please wear socks and shoes, no sandals. Yeah, we know it’s summer but so do the rocks, sun, sticks, and ticks. Speaking of sun and ticks (eww!) please apply your favorite insect repellent and sun screen before checking in every morning.

Bethel’s Nature Care Camp uses the Wild Wonder curriculum developed by A Rocha USA. The organization helps parents and churches get kids outside and sparks their imaginations as they learn about God and explore the world around them. The lessons and activities point to the wildly wonderful world God made and help kids see that they too are beloved creations.
